BCR 03.08.2025

SATURDAY, MARCH 8, 2025
Petaluma, CA

$50. Gates 7:30am, event 8am.

March’s route hops right into the action from a gorgeous rural winery start point in Petaluma and doesn’t let up for ~100 miles of twisty tarmac, bolting along bayfront roads, through redwood forests, farmland, and vineyards, eventually returning to our start point for an optional winery lunch.

Meet at an undisclosed Petaluma location for a little pre-rally social hour. At 9am, leave in 3 groups (HARE, TORTOISE, and SNAIL) 5 minutes apart for an ~100 mile drive, done by noon.

What does your $50 get you? Only this: a parking pass, rally decal, a PDF with rally info and route directions, a Google Map and downloadable .kml file, and an amazing morning out on Northern California's best backroads with a crüe of like-minded drivers.

All applications are subject to review and approval by BCR; in the case your application is not accepted, your ticket fee will be refunded.

How to register.

1. Fill out the form below with your (and your car’s) info. Pick the events you wanna attend (they’re only $50 a pop, pick a bunch), and click APPLY. You’ll get an immediate email confirmation that we got your info; watch for a second email within 24 hours - that one will let you know if your application was accepted.

2. Relax. As the date for your event approaches, you’ll receive a parking cling (for entrance) and a decal (for posterity) via snail-mail, and a Rally Info Packet (with start location and turn-by-turn directions) via email a few days before the rally.

WHAT’S ELIGIBLE? All pre-2000 vehicles are welcome; 2000 and newer car entries are limited to “enthusiast” models and other “interesting” vehicles- sports cars, low production runs, unusual/exotic marques, grey market imports, backyard-modded enthusiast projects, things like that. Motorcycles and post-1999 SUVs/CUVs/trucks/minivans are NOT eligible. Certain post-2000 models (with circa '99 designs) are eligible as ‘vintage’ - if in doubt your vehicle qualifies, click here before submitting an application.

Additional info:

Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Registration is valid for a single driver (named in the registration application).

Co-drivers (18 or over) who deliver a co-driver agreement , navigators, and passengers welcome.

A $50 fee is charged for registration; this fee will be refunded in full if your vehicle is not accepted. Registration is per vehicle  -  not per person. Share the good times; feel free to bring as many people as your car can safely seat.

A link to download the Rally Info Packet (with start/end location info and turn-by-turn directions) will be sent the week of the drive. Read it. Learn it. Know it. Live it. Don’t rely on the person in front of you to know where they’re going- they don’t.

This is a private event. We don’t view you or your car as an attraction - no spectators are permitted at start points.

Gas up prior to arriving at the starting location; limited gas stations along the route.

Cell reception unavailable in some areas.

The drive begins staging at 9am and takes roughly 3 hrs. There is no driver meeting or assistance with staging; keep an eye on the time and roll out with your selected run group (9am for Hare, 9:05am for Tortoise, and 9:10am for Snail).

Drive within posted limits, taking into consideration weather and road conditions, always yield to quicker vehicles, and never pass on a double yellow line.

Roads are generally pretty smooth; usual bumps and such, nothing major.

People live and work in these areas we drive through. Be courteous to business owners, employees, homeowners, ranchers, cyclists, pedestrians, pets and livestock you encounter- let’s keep BCR welcome in the area.
