Sold out; thanks.

Curvy country roads, vineyard scenery, interesting cars, chill people. If you’re into at least three of these things, you’ll dig BCR October, cuz it’s got ‘em all in spades. We’re going to kick things off in Sonoma, hop on over to Napa for a hot minute, and wind up in Petaluma- a total of 75 miles of good times. This month we’ll have two routes to choose from- a Sports Route with smooth, easy-riding roads, and a Rugged Route with long stretches of patchy, tight ‘n twisty single lane roads for you hardy types.

Before the rally, we’ll meet at 8am at an undisclosed start point for a little cars & coffee action. At 9am, we’ll take off in 3 groups (HARE, TORTOISE, and SNAIL groups) 5 minutes apart. We’ll be done before noon, at which point you can grab lunch in Petaluma, go wine/beer-tasting, soak up that local vibe, or just head on home.

Old and/or interesting cars (& people) of all makes and models are welcome. Rally decals can be bought in advance from the BCR shop.

Additional info:

This event is free. It is also “mostly vintage” and “brand-agnostic.” It’s not Euro-only, Vintage-only, or Anything-only. That said, please keep modern car entries to “enthusiast” models and other “interesting“ vehicles- sports cars, low production runs, unusual/exotic marques, things like that. Post-1999 SUV’s/CUV’s/trucks/minivans are not eligible.

Please give the surrounding shops your business and tip well- let’s not be freeloaders.

Don’t make us say “no burnouts.” You’re better than that, right?

The drive begins staging at 9am and will take a max of 2.5 hrs or so. Feel free to drive at a speed comfortable to you, always yield to quicker vehicles, and never pass on a double yellow line.

A link to download turn-by-turn directions will be sent a week before the drive. Read them. Learn them. Know them. Live them. Don’t rely on the person in front of you to know where they’re going- they don’t.

Roads on the Sports Route are pretty smooth the whole way; usual bumps and such, nothing major. Some of the roads on the Rugged Route, on the other hand, are patchy/bumpy in spots, single lane, tight and twisty- do not take this route if your car is lowered and has little clearance.

Gas up prior to arriving at the starting location; limited gas stations along the route.

Cell reception unavailable in some areas.

Be courteous to business owners, employees, homeowners, ranchers, cyclists, pedestrians, pets and livestock you encounter- let’s keep BCR welcome in the area.
